Picture this- popcorn, cotton candy, rides, clowns, face painting, two Uncle Moishy concerts, and an afternoon of prizes and giveaways.� Sounds like fun. What are we celebrating? Someone�s birthday? A holiday? The answer is back to school! Usually this time of the year is met with dread, but it doesn�t have to be. Let�s get the children pumped and prepared for a new academic year of learning and fun by throwing a party and showing them that the return of school is an exciting time.��
Rain or shine, Plaza Auto Mall� and the JCC of�Marine�Park�is inviting all kids and families to join them as they host their highly anticipated annual Back to School Street Fair on�Sunday, August 26th from 2 to 6 P.M.� This year, the event will be held at a new location, on Avenue N between East 29th Street and Nostrand Avenue.
In addition to all the excitement mentioned above, ID cards will be distributed to the children, and participants will get free knapsacks in a variety of cool colors for boys and girls. The knapsacks are filled with school supplies such as notebooks, papers, loose-leaf, crayons, pencils, markers, erasers, sharpeners, etc. (while supplies last). Available ticket times for pickups are from�3 to 3:30 P.M.�or�5 to 5:30 P.M.�To save time and make sure you get your knapsack, you can pre-register online at�JCCMP.ORG.� Although participants do not have to register to attend the event, a child must be present to receive the knapsack or school supplies.�
