HaGaon HaRav Yehuda Fischer Shlita has been appointed as a dayan for the Eida Chareidis. The appointment fills the void created in Shevat when HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Blau ZT�L was niftar. Dayan Fischer is among the rabbonim of the Perushim kehilla in Yerushalayim.
The Yehuda Fischer is the second son of Jerusalem Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Yisroel Yaakov Fischer ZT�L, who served as rov of the Zichron Moshe area of the capital. He is a son-in-law of HaGaon HaRav Yisroel Aaron Kupshitz Shlita, one of the prominent rabbonim of the Sanhedria neighborhood.
