6:00PM (Sunday): A search was launched for a missing 2-year-old child, in Swan Lake, NY, Sunday afternoon.
The exact location of the search was at the Skver Camp (Toldos Yaakov Yosef ). Dozens of Catskills Hatzolah members were on the scene, along with a Coordinator. The New York State Police was on the scene as well as other local agencies.
Boruch Hashem, the child was found safe around 3 hours after going missing, and was returned to his parents.

only one thing all these tzaros we read about have in common. its TESHUVA & we need to start ASAP before things get worse C”V
I.E. we only have to blame ourselves-no one else-for all this tzaros for not doing teshuva earlier & preventing it from happening

B’h the child was found safe but could someone explain what possesses parents to send a 2 year old to summer camp? Is this something unique to the Skver or do other Chassidus have summer camps for such young children?

How stupid can someone be thinking that a 2 year old was send to camp?? It could of bean a child from a family that is in camp… But it was a child from very caring and responsible parents that where visiting their boys and the child walked off!!!!! B”H the child is ok thnx to everyone for helping to find him…..
To #3 -Gadolhadorah- There usually are married staff with children in these camps.
