Mrs. Leah Kohn, who was struck by a vehicle going the wrong way in Williamsburg on November 28th, has tragically passed away.� She was 59.
Mrs. Kohn a”h, the wife of R’ Shmuel Menachem yb”l, was crossing the intersection of Taylor Street and Kent Ave. when a vehicle driving east in the westbound lanes struck her, causing critical injuries.
Hatzolah transported her to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition. The driver has not been caught.

Since decades ago, every single time I cross a 1 way street, I always double check the other direction notwithstanding it being a 1 way street.
There are security cameras everywhere. I don’t believe the police can’t find the vehicle and the individual who committed this crime. So tragic.
