According to a senior Israeli military official cited by The New York Times, discussions are currently ongoing for the release of approximately 50 dual-nationals held captive by Hamas. These discussions are part of conversations between the United States and Qatar regarding the ongoing hostilities, according to the report.

Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed, the chairperson of the Armed Services Committee, told the Times that American officials have urged Israel to postpone any potential ground invasion to make way for the hostage negotiations.

“There are so many factors, rushing into this probably is not the best approach, Reed commented.

According to I24News, the final stages of a release of hostages is underway, with significant mediation efforts from Qatar. The Red Cross is en route to receive approximately 50 hostages with dual citizenship. The transfer of these individuals is scheduled to take place in the southern Gaza Strip, specifically in the Khan Yunis area.

In the spirit of cooperation, there have been no reported Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in recent hours, a sign of adherence to the terms and conditions underlying these negotiations.

Hamas holding onto a single hostage is ample grounds for removing them from the planet. It is getting boring but sickening to hear the anti-Jewish journalists still blabbering their talking points of proportionality, the baseless accusations that Israel targets civilians, the apartheid baloney, and similar rhetoric.

It is a lie. They are making excuses to prevent aground operation. Desperately.

    Chaim87,
We can assume that “dual” nationals means that these people have an additional citizenship to their Israeli one, so yes they are from Am Yisroel
