Correct. At the behest of Trump, Vance voted against aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Putin probably ordered Trump to oppose that aid. Trump named Vance as his running mate shortly thereafter. The BEST thing you can say about Trump is that he is a Neville Chamberlain like appeaser of Putin and Xi, who are enabling Iran to evade all the sanctions and fund its proxy wars (including against Israel). More likely, Trump is fatally compromised by having had to rely on Russian oligarchs close to Putin to fund his business and his criminal and civil appeals. We do know that laundered Russian money got put into Trump’s campaign (and Trump pardoned one of the launderers.) Sadly, many Jews have been conned by Trump, just as many Italian Jews were conned by Mussolini. Most of Mussolini’s Jewish supporters weren’t alive by 1945.
