Hossein Salami, the head of Iran�s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed on Monday that Israel had �failed to achieve its ominous goals� with its recent strikes on Iranian military sites. Salami, speaking to the Tasnim news agency, called the attack a display of �miscalculation and helplessness� amid Israel’s conflicts with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
�Its bitter consequences will be unimaginable� for Israel, he warned.
In a separate statement, Iran�s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Tehran would utilize �all available tools� for a �definite and effective response to the Zionist regime.�
