Rioting Resumes in Akko

mishtara1.jpgRioting between Jews in Arabs has resumed in Akko after a Yom Kippur filled with violence in the racially mixed city.

Several dozen of people are rioting near the citys Magen David Adom headquarters. Police reportedly are using teargas and other riot-control adjuncts to restore order. There are no immediate reports of injuries.

Police have closed the entrances and exits to the city as a result of the spreading violence, resulting in major traffic snarls.
