The price of a standard subsidized price of a loaf of bread dropped on Wednesday about 2.7% bringing it to NIS 4.64 from NIS 4.80.
It is explained the price reduction is less than the drop in production cost due to the fact that in recent months, the bakers were losing money since their production costs exceeded the price they received.
