It is clear that Shas leader Eli Yishai is not mincing words regarding the Yisrael Beitenu Party, warning voters last week that a strong Yisrael Beitenu in the 18th Knesset will lead to the destruction of the Jewish character of the state.
In his motzei Shabbos drasha, Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef Shlita stated a vote for �Yisrael Beitenu is a vote for Soton.
The Rav expounded on his comments, citing portions of the party�s platform which promotes civil marriage, the sale of pork. �They do not have Torah� explained the Rav, warning those who plan on voting for the party not to do so, not to succumb to a �yetzer hora�.
Yishai also pointed out that the alarming increase in violence in the nation�s public schools is another clear sign of the need to maintain the Jewish values in chinuch in the nation.
