Officials in the Prime Minister�s Office are denying al-Arabiya reports that Damascus has released a message via Jordan, informing Israel of a willingness to enter into negotiations.

The report stems around Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu�s meeting with Jordan�s King Abdullah II, scheduled ahead of next week�s meeting in Washington between the prime minister and President Barak Obama. Mr. Netanyahu is trying to establish an anti-Iran coalition which he envisions would include moderate Arab nations.

The Jordanian monarch called on the prime minister to announce his commitment to the two-state solution plan, a plan that greatly benefits Jordan, since Amman is uninterested in absorbing the many PA residents in its borders, viewing the two-state plan as a viable solution to unload itself of the residents of PA (Palestinian Authority) areas.
