Police say a 41-year-old Russian tourist and his 14-year-old son were flying a drone in Central Park and the father was ticketed.
The device was captured on police cameras and officers traced it to the two in Central Park during the Macy�s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday morning.
Flying a drone in the city is illegal. The father said he didn�t know what the rules were because he was from out of town. Police ticketed him and released him. No criminality was suspected.
