Chief of Israel Police Dudi Cohen warned that �settler resistance� surrounding the government construction freeze is crossing the �red line�.
Addressing a routine weekly police briefing, the chief of the department stated that opposition to inspectors and police in yishuvim has �crossed the line�, exceeding legitimate protest and freedom of expression.
The chief added the department will aggressively treat cases of property damage and assault, and all efforts will be made to prevent a further escalation in the violence.
