Its clear most dont know what Linkedin is, Its not a site like FB where people “friend” each other and meet members of the opposite gender and engage in midless chatter. Its not a site where people send out 140 character messages to unknown people
Its a site for business networking. You go on that site to make business connections. when someone wants to connect with you on linkedin you can easily figure out if its a person you might want to connect with eithr now or in the future.
If you are not in business, its probably not a site you want to be on.
