But his focus was Nigleh so no he wouldn’t advise six year olds to close their Gemaras and study Arizal. The Gemara says that Torah can be a Sam Hachaim or a Sam Hamoves. When people learn Torah that’s not appropriate for them it’s a Sam Hamoves.
