Camp Chunyak, the summer camp affiliated with the Otisville Kollel, provides great fun and real chinuch at a low cost because it teaches how to do things at the expense of others.
Shiurim include: “Choshen Mishpat: How to Get Away with Violating It While Passing Yourself Off as a Frum Balabos”, “Reaching the Highest Madrega: Menuval Birshus HaTorah” and “The Ins and Outs of Manipulating Federal Entitlement Programs”.
Activities include: applying for credit online with false names and SSN’s, filling out welfare applications for phantom dependents, learning how to file a phoney tax return, and the great annual “Ponzi War” where each team competes in seeing how many investors it can swindle.
Camp trips include taking small packages of white powder and vitamin pills to Antwerp, London and Eretz Yisroel, with trips to Thailand and Japan awarded to campers who excel in studies and activities.
And our camp insists on the strictest standards of frumkeit whenever someone is looking, and this is enforced by our counselor/camper tznius patrol, which is happy to obtain alcohol and narcotics for your camper during off hours.
