Tein Le Chow — great Chinese place in Chicago but its takeout Taboon grill is also very good.
Shallots (high-endish place) was always too expensive for me, but they make an amazing pineapple burger, the other food there is also excellent. (What you went to shallots to get a burger??? Yea I did because it was the only place open and I just came in on a flight.)
