The time-frame of this ????? ????? could not have been too long at all, it’s was until our luach was instituted. Nevertheless our ???? ??????? ?????? is ever so strong, Gemarah and Halacha equate it and actually in some instances hold it more stringent than the first day. No, it is not something we want to do away with. And it is certainly not making our life harder.
